These 23girls are my nonbreeding sows KS and Kai. Kai's pelvic bones have already hardened making delivery extremely hard. KS is just a pet because when she was born, she was extremely tiny (38 grams) and has continued to stay much smaller than she should be. This does not effect her health, however I am not going to breed her. Zoey has given us several litters and has an amazing personality! She is retired and will live the rest of her life relaxing and enjoying retirement. These girls live here as loving pets!

Kai
I got Kai about 5 years ago when I was out picking up supplies. One look and I knew I had to have her. She was my 3rd Muskateer! Her name is Kai but everybody calls her Squirrel or KaiPrincess. She truly is a sweetheart!

Meet KS! KS was born September 15th in a litter of 5. Her mom Peek-A-Boo was not due until a few weeks later, resulting in very tiny babies ranging from 35-50 grams. KS weighed 38 grams, 2nd smallest in her litter. Despite staying up for days stragiht working with them, only KS made it. During the week after, Peek-A-Boo because very sick. She had lost so much weight during the pregnancy, that unfortunately she passed away as well. KS was only a week old, and only got 1 day of Peek-A-Boo's milk. We worked with her still, giving her kitten formula, baby food, and Pedialyte and she slowly began to gain weight. Because KS had never seen another piggie oher than her siblings, she had to be taught to use her water bottle, and introduced to normal food. Now today (12/21/2011), KS weighs 343 grams and is doing wonderful! Since she is still very small and very special to us, I've chosen not to breed her. She will live with us as our spoiled family pet!
